I am so super excited to do my first ever Bat Unit!! With the switch to Common Core, my K team has decided that we need to switch our focus. We had to cut out a lot of our 'fun' themes and concentrate on non-fiction units. Each unit will be at least two weeks long. I am loving it!!
So starting Monday...we will begin our Bat Unit!! Then, we will be moving into Spiders!
Here is a little preview of some of the activities included...I planned on making this more organized..but it was getting a little overwhelming...Sorry!!
Besides the activities that you can see above, there are also non-fiction aspects to the unit. I had to make a mock version of the graphic organizer since I haven't actually used it yet, but all the pieces are included :)
I would love to hear what you think!! I am putting the unit on sale for tonight and tomorrow. I will also give two of you the opportunity to win this unit! All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post. I will pick two random numbers tomorrow evening (Sunday night) to win!!

Love doing-we do them as part of nocturnal animals. Really enjoy your units as many of us are changing to common core this year. Thanks for all your hard work. DWMom4@aoll.com
ReplyDeleteOh this looks so great! I also get overwhelmed with trying to display the items in a kit. I usually give up showing it all and pick a few.
