Organization and Freebie :)

At my school we aren't allowed back into the classroom until the week before school starts so I was trying my best to get somewhat organized before I left for the summer!! I decided to take on my open cabinet. I wish I had a 'before' picture because it was so NOT cute at all!! But...here is the after picture :)


I am so much happier to know that this is already all organized when I get back! I still have some labels to add....I was using all the labels from Mrs. Freshwater's Blog :) I am trying to decide if I want to make that tool box from Home Depot that so many of you are making!! Hmmm??
I also re-did a lot of my units on TPT this past week! I added new activities or just made them cuter! So, if you have bought anything from me, please head over to TPT and go to your purchases to see if there is a new download for you :) :) 
I had a couple emails asking if my Johnny Appleseed was available for purchase separate from my Apple Unit, well....not it is! :) If you are interested, just click here or below.
If you are still with me...then I have a little freebie for you!! I know a lot of our K kids need 'glue' practice at the beginning of the year. Two of the first units I am doing are Monsters and Apples...so click below to grab your 'A Little Dot Holds A lot' pages :) Don't forget to sing the song too!!     hahahah I have no idea how I finished off the year with that many glue sticks left!! That NEVER happens!!!

    Oh my gosh, I love your organization! Even if I organized, I don't know if my cabinets would ever look at neat as yours lol. Organization is my goal for the summer. I'm going to have to keep on the look out for those containers from Michael's. Great job Caitlin!! :)

    What a great idea for glue practice!! We use the saying "A dots a lot" but the size of the dot is never the size needed. I will be using your idea! Thanks for sharing.

    I love your glue activity, we will be doing these at the start of the year. I made some colored glue using glue and paste food color and we'll use that to make our dots so it will be colorful.

    Caitlin, I'm with you! I also have to wait until 1 week before school to get into the building. The glue song is SO cute! I will definitely use it with my kinders. I have recently put up some freebies on my blog and on Teacher's Notebook (in "Sharon's Shop") that you might be able to use with your kinders. If you have a second, come grab some freebies! :)

    Caitlin, I love the glue song and freebie, thanks so much for sharing. Last year I made colored glue with elmers glue and some drops of food coloring. The kids loved it.

    That is TOTALLY Awesome!!!! I don't know what I would do if they told us in our building we could not get in our rooms until the week before school started. I have been working in mine on and off during the summer except when they were waxing the floors.
